What You Need to Know Before You Book
How long is the Yoho National Park tour?
The tour runs 9 to 10 hours depending on the option you choose. The base tour visits all stops along the Icefields aThe tour runs 7.5 to 8.5 hours, visiting Takakkaw Falls, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge, and the Spiral Tunnels viewpoint.
Parkway. Options 2, 3, and 4 add time for the Skywalk, Glacier Adventure, or Ice Odyssey.
Is the Takakkaw Falls road open year-round?
No. The road to Takakkaw Falls is seasonal and typically opens in late June, depending on snowfall. When the road is closed, the tour visits all other Yoho stops and may include an alternate viewpoint.
Do we need a Parks Canada pass?
Yes. A Parks Canada pass is required for entry into Yoho National Park and should be purchased in advance at parks.canada.ca. Passes are not included in the tour price.
What is the difference between the van and SUV?
The van accommodates up to 14 guests and is ideal for larger groups. The SUV fits up to 5 guests and offers a more intimate experience. Both are private, your group only.
