The road to Moraine Lake has been closed to private vehicles since 2023 because parking spots were as elusive as Sasquatch. To reach the lake, you must take a shuttle or a tour.

Additionally, major CONSTRUCTION ON LAKE LOUISE DRIVE, the access road to both lakes (Lake Louise and Moraine Lake), is ongoing in 2024. Parks Canada recommends shuttle services or tours to reach Lake Louise during this time, and we couldn't agree more! Ditch your car in Canmore or Banff at your hotel, walk to one of our EASILY ACCESSIBLE PICK-UP LOCATIONS, and leave the stress of navigating the road and the Lake Louise area up to us!
